What kind of refuse do you handle?
Big Red Box roll off containers are specially designed for the refuse generated by renovations, construction and home improvement products. All hazardous wastes should still be disposed of directly according to manufacturer and municipal guidelines.

How much does your Columbia, SC roll off service cost?

Do I have to be contractor to rent a Big Red Box roll off container?
We do work with contractors, but we also work with private homeowners handling their own home improvement projects. We know that renovations can make waste pile up, and we're here for you regardless of what size project yours happens to be.

Do I need a permit for Columbia, SC dumpster rentals?
Columbia, SC dumpster rentals do require a permit if you're going to be parking them on the street. City of Columbia Code Enforcement officers can give you the information you need to park one on your location. If you're going to be leaving the roll off container on your own property (i.e. a driveway or a yard) no permits are required.

What size roll off do I need?
The size of roll off container you need is going to depend on the size of your project. We offer dumpsters in three separate sizes:

-14 Cubic Yard Container (15 feet long X 8 feet wide X 4 feet high) If you're tearing out a couple of rooms or a kitchen the 14 yarder might be right for you.

-30 Cubic Yard Container (22 feet long X 8 feet wide X 5.5 feet high)
The "thirty yarder" is the optimal size. This fits in front of most homes without too many complaints from the neighbors. You can fit carpeting, drywall, and wood in a thirty yarder without too much trouble.

-40 Cubic Yard Container (22 feet long X 8 feet wide X 7 feet high)
The "forty yarder" is a monster roll-off meant for real renovation work or for land clearing. Usually used by a contractor and loaded with a tractor, it will handle all of your needs.

Keep in mind that weight is going to be a consideration. If you're moving stones or concrete you're only going to be able to fill about half of your container. We usually suggest if you're not sure that you choose a roll off one size larger than you think you're going to need. That saves everyone the hassle of overstuffed, heavily weighted dumpsters and/or the need to rent another container because the first one is full.

When do I need to reserve my Columbia, SC roll off container?
